Games Workshop Group PLC ("Games Workshop" or the "Company")

Dealings by Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility

The Company was informed on Friday 28th July 2006 that, on that day, Tom Kirby
(Chairman and Chief Executive), Michael Sherwin (Finance Director) and Nick
Donaldson (non-executive Director) acquired ordinary shares of 5p each in the
Company ("Ordinary Shares").


Mr Kirby acquired 63,500 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.2 per
cent. of the Company's issued share capital, at a price of 344.1 pence per
Ordinary Share. Following this acquisition, Mr Kirby has a beneficial and
non-beneficial interest in 1,905,009 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately
6.1 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.


Mr Sherwin acquired 11,500 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.04 per
cent. of the Company's issued share capital, at a price of 344.1 pence per
Ordinary Share. Following this acquisition, Mr Sherwin holds 77,168 Ordinary
Shares, representing approximately 0.25 per cent. of the Company's issued share
capital.


Mr Donaldson acquired 10,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing
approximately 0.03 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital, at a price
of 344.1 pence per Ordinary Share. Following this acquisition, Mr Donaldson
holds 20,000 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.06 per cent. of the
Company's issued share capital.
