("Games Workshop" or the "Company")

The Company received notification on 15 January 2007 that Schroder Investment Management Limited ("SIML") has an interest in 3,718,620 ordinary shares of 5 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") which are held in portfolios managed on a discretionary basis for clients of SIML under investment management agreements.

Included in this figure are:

(i) 2,257,408 Ordinary Shares held in units trust operated and managed by an affiliated company, Schroder Unit Trusts Limited ("SUTL"), and registered or to be registered in the name of Chase Nominees Limited;

(ii) 687,177 Ordinary Shares registered in the name of British Coal Staff Superannuation a/c: P;

(iii) 722,232 Ordinary Shares registered in the name of Mineworkers' Pensions Schemes a/c: R; and

(iv) 51,803 Ordinary Shares registered in the name of Bank of Ireland Securities Services.

SIML and their affiliated companies are therefore interested in 3,718,620 Ordinary Shares in aggregate, representing approximately 11.95 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.

This notification is made:

(a) in respect of SIML's interest as investment managers, and

(b) on behalf of Schroders plc, SIML's holding company, which is treated as having an interest in all of the above Ordinary Shares under the Act by virtue of its ownership of SUTL and SIML.
